Member Juried Show at Nelson's Furniture
March
Members present up to two works of art to be juried and selected to advance to the Association of Nebraska Art Clubs (ANAC) Juried Show during the state conference in June. Total entries to ANAC are based on our paid membership as of our January meeting. Entries must meet ANAC requirements to be included in the jury process. ANAC State Art Competition & Conference
June - Conference location rotates between various clubs
Art clubs from across the state enter work to be judged by a nationally known artist. Each club is allowed a specific number of entries based on its membership. The number of entries has varied over the years from over 600 to 250. Out of all the entries, twenty-five pieces are selected to receive the Award of Excellence, with one Best of Show. This group of work then travels the state for the next 12 months. An additional twenty-five pieces are awarded Honorable Mentions.
The annual ANAC Conference is a 4-day event filled with workshops, fun, and networking. For more information see the ANAC website.
Art in the Park
Second Saturday in July
Art in the Park is a unique experience for everyone involved! Held in the beautiful and historic Harmon Park in Kearney. Talented artists from around the Midwest exhibit original works of art. Live entertainment and a variety of food vendors will also add to the experience!

Members of the Guild, family & friends get together to celebrate accomplishments & have some fun in the sun!
Winter & Spring Art Markets

Twenty or more member artists will present their creations for your viewing pleasure, with an opportunity for you to purchase items for your gift-giving needs. Whether it's for that hard-to-buy-for individual or a treat for yourself, there is something for everyone.

Studio Tours

Kearney Artist Guild members open their studios and/or homes to display and sell art and decor. Studio tours are based on availability and may not happen every year.
Holiday Party
December
Members get together to celebrate the Holidays and another successful year for the Kearney Artist Guild. Food, drink and good times are shared along with reflection and generating new ideas for the Kearney Artist Guild to pursue in the following year. This is a perfect time to become a member, renew membership, and invite friends and family to enjoy this holiday celebration!
